Eugenio Derbez

Eugenio Derbez was born in Mexico City, Mexico. He is the son of legendary film and television actress, Sylvia Derbez, and began acting at the very young age of twelve. He holds degrees in film directing and in acting.

A star of both, live-action and animated films, Derbez has featured in a number of films that have brought his lifetime box-office gross to over 2.5 billion dollars, earning Derbez the global title of the most successful Latin actor at the box-office. 

Out of his generation, he is considered to be the fourth most influential person on social media worldwide.

In 2013, Derbez wrote, produced, starred in, and directed Instructions Not Included. The film became the highest grossing Spanish-language film ever in the U.S.  and the world, making $100 million on a budget of only $5 million. Derbez has also starred in hits like How to Be a Latin Lover, Overboard, Jack & Jill, Geostorm, The Nutcracker and the Four Realms, Miracles from Heaven, and Dora and the Lost City of Gold. Recently he starred in the Oscar nominated film, Coda, which made history at the 2021 Sundance Film Festival, winning all three top prizes in the U.S. Dramatic category. The film also won Best Cast Ensemble at the Screen Actors Guild Awards in the 2022 award season. Later this year, Derbez can be seen starring in the comedy film The Valet.

Derbez has produced and starred in his own comedy shows for the last 25 years, with the highest ratings for a comedy on TV. His shows are still pulling in audiences through reruns in all of Latin America and in the U.S. through the Spanish language network, Univision.

With his production company, 3Pas Studios, Derbez has an exciting slate of both television and film projects set up in multiple platforms in English and Spanish.

Recently, Derbez received a Daytime Emmy Award for his comedy show LOL: Last One Laughing, which he both produced and hosted. 3Pas’ Apple original comedy series, Acapulco, received critical and commercial success. The series, which Derbez also produced and starred in, will return for a second season. 

In 2014, Variety recognized Derbez as the #1 most influential Hispanic male in the world. He is a member of the Academy of Motion Picture Arts and Sciences and has his very own star on the legendary Hollywood Walk of Fame. It is without a doubt that Eugenio Derbez continues to be a strong growing force in the entertainment business.  


Roberto Gómez Fernández

Producer and director, passionate about soccer, his favorite team is America, of course. Roberto Gómez Fernández is one of the most valued and prestigious producers on television. His life was always full of cameras and reflectors and although he tried acting at an early age, he guided his professional path towards production with Televisa, a decision that gave him great success on the small screen. He has produced more than eight telenovelas (soap operas) and has received various awards and nominations. Roberto is the producer of the animated series El Chavo and Chapulín Colorado, that has helped preserve the family legacy and reaffirm his position as one of the best.

He is currently President of Grupo Chespirito, and among the most ambitious projects to come is the production of the Chespirito bioseries, together with Thr3 Media Group.

Alfredo Rodriguez Diaz-Marta

Alfredo is a Vice President at Dish Network where he leads the Latino Center of Excellence (C.O.E) and oversees efforts to maximize segment opportunities across the enterprise’s 3 main brands and lines of business -  Dish, Sling and Boost Wireless . During his tenure at Dish he led the strategy and managed the team that turned DishLATINO into the leading Spanish Tier Pay TV provider, representing over 20% of Dish’s total yearly sales, and oversaw brand, acquisition and retention efforts at Sling, the company’s live streaming platform.

Prior to joining Dish, Alfredo held various senior marketing and innovation roles with Molson Coors in Denver, Mexico and Puerto Rico, where he championed and launched the Coors Light Cold Activated bottle that would later be successfully introduced in the U.S. Before this, Alfredo worked for Philip Morris International and Kraft Foods where he held various country manager and senior marketing roles in Colombia , Ecuador, Paraguay and the U.S.

Alfredo has been recognized with the Hispanic Leadership award by the Broadcasting and Cable Association and his team’s work has been the recipient of multiple national marketing awards . He is a two term appointee to the Federal Communications Commission (FCC) Advisory Committee on Diversity and Digital empowerment and is a former Y.P.O member. Alfredo is a graduate of Washington University in St. Louis’s Olin School of Business , a dual citizen of the US and Spain, and currently lives in Denver with his wife and two children.
